I would look at craigslist.org for your local area. You’re not going to find one brand new for the price listed (in my area at least) but used ones are right in the price mentioned.
a ten is so cheap and for some reason all sizes even 5 is way more expensive. a 20 gallon is very expensive so i dont think yer gonna find one for less than 30 dollars
Hi Heather, In addition to Craigslist I would suggest trying your local Freecycle Group-link below. In addition to looking on the two aforementioned groups you can also post a ‘wanted’ ad to further increase your chances & remember the Freecycle tank will be free!!
Several of my friends have found large 40, 50 60 gallon etc tanks on Freecycle-just remember to test fill it for a couple of days outside just to check it’s integrity.

$30 for a 20 gallon is average. consider that a 10 gallon is $15 other wise look at garage sales and E-Bay or other local pet stores.
