ask some movers that can handle things like that, or the carpetting ppl might be able to lift the 30 gallon tank lol and move it, but its best to either carpet around them or dont do it at all, and yeah the fumes will make ur fish die most probably!!
You must remove the aquarium from the area the carpet installers can not and will not move it for you. Set them up while you are working for a few days in another room.
you could consider having no carpet at all. carpet is really dirty anyway, almost impossible to get really clean. it harbors all kinds of nasty things.
If you have a nice floor under your existing carpet, I suggest you just remove the carpet a little at a time (moving each fish tank as needed), clean up the floor, and lay down a nice area rug in the center of the room.
