    Hold up a second.
Some fish will need to go back to the store.
The oscar will get 12 inches long and eat everything. Send him back. THe angelfish will eat smaller fish (Such as platys) and will get its fins ripped apart by the betta. Thats one that need to be taken back, it will also get 6 inches long.
The bala sharks need to be in schools and they get a foot long. Not food for a 55 gallon tank. Take him back to.
Now, your left with 1 betta, 3 platys and a pleco. The pleco is pushing it(If it is a common pleco) because it can get 2 feet long. You can keep him for a year or two and then upgrade or trade him in.
Any tank mates added need to have short fins or the betta will attack them.
Mollies could work, so could almost any tetra.

the oscars will eat the platties once they are bigger than the platties. just thought i’d tell you. keep this in mind for every inch of a fish you need a gallon.
hope this helps!!!!!!!! it also depends on how big the fish are.

    Oh my..

Your tank is seriously overstocked and there is no possible way you can add anything else. In fact, you are going to have to take fish out because eventually the Oscar is going to kill and eat everyone else except maybe the Pleco.

55 gallons is the minimum requirement for an Oscar, but a 75 gallon is best for 1 Adult Oscar. Depending on what type of Pleco you have, a Common will need 75 gallons. Bala sharks are very active fish and grow over a foot long. They should be in schools of at least 6 and this means they need a long tank of at least 400 gallons.

So, you have some serious changes to make, first being the Oscar and the Bala. I would suggest to take the Bala shark back and to get a 75 gallon for the Oscar or to take it back as well.

EDIT: The 1 inch per gallon rule hardly ever works. It doesn’t consider aggression, adult size, territorial behaviour, waste production, schooling needs etc so if you went by this rule in the first place, this is probably why your tank is poorly stocked this way.

20 gallons for the first fish then 10 gallons for each aditional fish..

Umm.. less than you have now.

Dont worry, in 6 months you will only have the Oscar, and maybe the Pleco left. The Oscar will simply eat the rest.

Oscars quickly grow into a foot long carnivore and will eat anything that they can fit in their mouth, and sometimes things that cant fit.
