not really but it also depends on what fish your going to have in there.and your have to realize how long its gonna take to cycle.

it depends on how serious you are about keeping fish also depending on if it is for a long time or short time if u get a 120 gallon tank u can get many good beautiful fish if yr serious bout fish keeping and learning everything u need to know bout fish then yes it is worth it ,u can choose from marine fish, tropical or freshwater/goldfish but as a starter i would suggest u either go for freshwater/goldfish or tropical as these are both easy to look and care for but for a marine carer takes a lot more experience hope this helps u out and good luck with what u decide

If you start with a small tank, you will end up wanting a bigger one. I say get the 120 gallon tank, but don’t spend a whole bunch of money on fish until you figure out what you are doing.

I have always heard the bigger the tank the easy it is to take care of. I like my 2 smaller tanks because i can have one tank with aggressive fish and one with committee fish. But i have to say i think a big tank like that would be really neat and fun to have. Than you could get bigger fish like Bala sharks Good Luck to you in what ever you decide just remember you still have to take care of the tank no matter how big or small it is.
