That all depends on how long ago you purchased it. I would say, that a $400 tank with all accessories should catch a $250-300 price if it is in pristine condition.

Depending on what the shipping costs are, I’m in NJ, I’d be happy to buy that actually. Thats just what I am looking for to build a new tank for a cichild community!! I think the price assessment given in the other answer seems about right. I’ve looked eBay and that is the same range, only most people I can’t find will ship.

At aquarium society auctions tanks with no fixtures sell for about $1.00 a gallon. Usually nobody wants the other stuff. You best bet is to try to sell it locally through free want-ads in the local trading paper. If you can get $200 you will be very lucky. $175 would be OK. $150 should be your bottom price. Probably the most valuable part of the system would be the top and lights,if they are in top condition. —-Good luck.

If I were you, I would do some researching on eBay. Find out what similar fish tanks in similar condition are selling for. Good luck!

Check out the prices on ebay.com and see what they are going for…

Just remember things are only worth what someone is willing to pay for them.

    Good Luck

Look on craigslist in your area to see what others are going for. I bought my 55 gallon for $200 off of craigslist (stand, hood, lights, and tank) and that included delivery. I could have gotten one cheaper but needed the delivery and didn’t want any decorations/filter/chemicals since I wanted specific stuff. The quality of the stand can also change the price. Mine came with a real wood stand (not particle board) which was easy to refinish and looks great.
